1902 Canadian Five Cent Silver in Almost Uncirculated condition and a 1902 AU LH/H
For the coronation in 1902 Edward commissioned a new design for his crown. St. Edward’s crown in use for nearly 300 years and used for 63 years by Queen Victoria,became known as the Queen’s crown. The finial on the Imperial State Crown is a jewelled Maltese cross.
The new Imperial or Tudor Crown was in use until 1952. This became known as the King’s Crown.
In 1902 the word CANADA was transferred from the obverse to the reverse.
