1921 Unc. US Morgan Silver Dollar, the first year produced since 1904 and the last year of the Morgan.
George T. Morgan, formerly a pupil of William Lyon in the Royal Mint in London.
He designed the dollar after the act authorizing the resumption of coinage on Feb. 28, 1878.
His initial M is found at the truncation of the neck at the last tress.
Coinage of the silver dollar was suspended after 1904 and resumed in 1921. The Morgan design was used until the new Peace design was adopted later that year.
