1947 Blunt Seven Canadian Silver Dollar
Two styles of 7 were used to date the 1947 dies; a tall figure with the lower tail pointing back to the right (pointed 7); and a shorter 7 with the lower tail pointing almost straight down (blunt 7)
The dot after the seven variety is the result of a specimen die being put in service as a working die for business strikes. The dot is the result of an accidental pit on the die.
