1915 S US Buffalo Nickel in very good Condition. Excellent coin to add to your collection.

The 1915-S is a low mintage issue that is quite scarce in circulated condition and one of the most expensive in lower grades.
The S is for the San Francisco mint. This is a very nice coin in VG condition.
They had a Buffalo on the reverse and an Indian Head on the front.
This caused the nickel to also be referred to as an Indian Head Nickel.
James Earle Fraser designed the nickel and his initial F is below the date.
The Buffalo was supposedly modeled after “Black Diamond” in the New York Central Park Zoo
