Beautiful 1940 Wings of Texaco Grumman Goose airplane metal diecast coin bank by Ertl, stock number F900, License No. 09560 (stamped so hard to read).
(Excerpt from back of box) – The “Texaco 34” Grumman Goose was purhased from the Gruman Aircraft Corporation of Bethpage, New York in June 1940.
The twin Pratt & Whitney Wasp Jr. radial engines delivered a top speed of 205 m.p.h. and a maximum range of 1150 miles.
This particular Goose was flown by the Texaco Louisiana-Arkansas Division of the Producing Department for the superintendent of the New Iberia District in southwestern Louisiana.
This beautiful model is still in its original box and only taken out for photos, then returned.
