A very nice 1881 Three Cent nickel coin from the U.S.A.

Since the silver Three Cent pieces were hoarded by the public, the US changed to nickel pieces that were produced from 1865 – 1889.
Both silver and nickel were produced for the years 1865 to 1873, they were, however, different designs.
