The Capped Bust obverse Half Dime was produced from 1829 – 1837. It has an Eagle on the reverse. The 1831 had a mintage of 1,242,700, composition .8924 silver, .1026 copper. They were minted in Philadelphia and designed by William Kneass. This is a very good example for this year.
