Imperial State Crowned Portrait, Maple Leaves Design.
The reverse was adapted from the 22 leaf Victorian design. The Imperial State Crown replaced the St. Edward’s crown and the word ‘CANADA’ was transferred from the obverse.
In 1909 an entirely new model was prepared for this denomination. The variety thus created has been called the Broad Leaves variety.
