1917 AU Canadian Five Cent Silver.
The new obverse introduced in 1911 was criticized by the public because the Latin phrase “DEI GRATIA” was omitted. The coinage tools were modified during the year and a new obverse with “DEI GRA” appeared in the 1912 issue.
